Registered Veterinary TechnicianHi I’m Kristen and I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician at Pawsh Place. I attended Carrington College and received my Associate’s Degree in science and have 3 years’ experience in the vet field. I find it very fulfilling helping animals and love being a pet care provider. I was born and raised in Vacaville and have a 3 year old fur baby named Riley. In my free time, I like to get outdoors and go hiking or fishing with my boyfriend and friends. I’m very proud to be a part of a team that cares so much about our local pet community and am excited to see where my career leads to as part of the Pawsh family!
Registered Veterinary TechnicianAlicia has been with Pawsh Place since January 1st, 2015, but has worked in the veterinary field for 15 years. She attended Western Career College’s Veterinary Technology program and graduated in June 2003. Alicia has a passion for canine and feline dentistry and educating clients on the importance of dental health. She also has special interests in birds and other exotics. Alicia will always go the extra mile to give her clients and patients the care they deserve.
Alicia is a mother of two children. Aidan who is 10 years old and Kennedy who is 6 years old. Both are animal lovers, like their mother. They have a house complete with three dogs, three cats, one Russian tortoise, and two angelfish. Alicia was formerly on the Board of Directors for Bay Area Poodle Rescue and enjoys rescuing and fostering animals in need. She also enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and crafts.
Registered Veterinary TechnicianHi, my name is Tiffany! I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician at Pawsh Place and have been in the veterinary medicine industry for over 12 years. I have worked in multiple specialty and emergency clinics throughout my veterinary history including the Small Animal Nursing Department at UC Davis.
When I am not at Pawsh, I enjoy spending time with my family, dogs, cats, and horses. I regularly compete in competitions and horse shows, while also giving riding lessons. One of my greatest passions includes the Spay and Neuter Clinic that I began in July of 2016 for feral cats throughout Solano County. In just one year we have successfully spayed and neutered 1,017 cats in our community and look forward to these numbers growing in the future.
I love working for Pawsh because of how community-driven the entire organization is and the helpful and supportive environment that has been created by each staff member. I look forward to coming to work each day and helping you with any and all pet care needs.
Registered Veterinary TechnicianHi, my name is Caitlin and I am a registered veterinary technician at Pawsh Place. I received my Associates Degree in veterinary technology from Cosumnes River College and got my RVT license in April of 2017. I have always loved animals. I grew up with 2 dogs, a guinea pig and an iguana, but it was not until I was in middle school and started volunteering at the Marin Humane Society that I knew I wanted to work with animals. I looked at all the different animal careers and decided I wanted to be a vet tech. I love being able to help animals and being able to send them home better than when they came in. Earlier this year I got to volunteer at a spay and neuter clinic in Mexico helping Mexican citizens spay and neuter their dogs and cats at no cost to them to help reduce the population of cats and dogs. It was a great learning experience for me.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and my boyfriend. I love how everyone is so passionate about their jobs at Pawsh and truly loves animals. We are a great team and everyone works together to help each other and the patients out. As one of the newer members of the Pawsh family I look forward to getting to know everyone better and growing as a vet tech.
Registered Veterinary TechnicianHi! My name is Marisa and I’m a veterinary assistant here at Pawsh. I completed the Veterinary Technology program at Carrington College, have been working as a vet assistant for the last 3 years and am now working toward becoming an RVT. Eventually, I plan on going back to school to specialize as a Surgical Technician… I love anesthesia, how it works, and that it is something you can never learn enough of. Being able to be with my patient before, during, and throughout recovery is something that is very rewarding to me. I am a mother of 2; Mia who is 8 and Lucas who is 2. We enjoy all kinds of adventures, BBQing with friends, camping in the summer, movies, or hanging out at home and working on our dream one project at a time. I’ve known since before I can remember that I wanted to work with animals and I feel fortunate that I get to say that I love what I do every day. I am excited to be a part of the team at Pawsh and look forward to the path it leads me down.
Veterinary AssistantHi, I’m Alex! I am a veterinary assistant at Pawsh and have worked in the field for 4 years now. I am also a student at Carrington College in the Veterinary Technology program and hope to become a Registered Veterinary Technician by the end of the year! I grew up riding and training horses and have 3 horses of my own (Max, Luna, and Polaris), 2 of which I rescued. I also have 3 dogs: Kara, my senior Australian Cattle Dog that is the best dog you could ask for, Abbey, my yellow Lab, and Porter my Black Lab puppy.
I have loved all sorts of animals ever since I could remember. I grew up in a large, animal-loving, rescue-supporting family. We never had less than 10 animals in the house a time. Whether it was volunteering at the Marine Mammal Center a few years ago or traveling the country showing and working at Arabian horse shows, my life has always been centered on animals… And I have loved every minute of it! In my spare time, I like to ride my horses and go hiking and running with my dogs. I also enjoy going to Giants games with my boyfriend.
I’m a recent addition to the Pawsh family, but have loved every day! I look forward to seeing where my career takes me and caring for your pets soon!

I joined Team Pawsh back in October 2017 and love working with our amazing crew! I feel like we’re all one big family and that we work together to give our clients the best pet care experience possible every day! Perla Del Rio – Estrella
Veterinary AssistantHi my name is Perla 🙂 I just finished the Veterinary Technology program at Carrington College and will be graduating in July with an AS. I am currently studying hard for my licensing exam to become an RVT. I grew up in the country around lots of farm animals and learned to love them all. I remember being in elementary school and learning what it meant to be a veterinarian and deciding this is what I want to be and I haven’t changed my mind since. I plan to go back to school soon to finish my BS and prerequisites for vet school. I love working at Pawsh Place as a veterinary assistant! I love working at a place where we all work hard to ensure each pet receives the best pet care experience possible. I have learned a lot in the brief time I’ve been here and am excited to continue my development alongside our amazing doctors and kindhearted staff. My passion is in equine medicine, but small animals have always had a special place in my heart too. I can’t wait to meet all your furry family members soon!
I was born and raised in Grass Valley, California. I come from a law enforcement family, and I take a lot of pride in that. Right after high school, I went to school to be a teacher, and during that process, I also volunteered at my local no-kill shelter. This is where I realized that I was meant to care for and save animals. From an early age, I’ve always loved animals! I can remember being six years old and that my best friend was my dog Chewy! I can also remember loving all of my foster-fail kittens. Someday I want to get my RVTS and specialize in something, but I haven’t narrowed down exactly which specific area of study yet. Right now I live in Vacaville with my boyfriend, Chris, our seven dwarf goats, two dogs, two inside cats, and two outside cats!
I’ll be done with tech school in May of 2019, and I couldn’t be more excited! I love working here at Pawsh Place! Every day is a chance for me to learn and experience new things and a new chance to make an impact on the lives of those who cannot speak for themselves.
I’m looking forward to helping you and your pet soon!
Hi, my name is Jami, and I am a veterinary receptionist at Pawsh. My family and I recently moved to Vacaville from Missouri because my husband is Active Duty Air Force and he received orders to Travis AFB. We have a blended family of four children and one dog, a nine-month-old Yorkie named Harley. We needed to find a new vet upon arriving and found Pawsh. We were so impressed with the doctors, staff, facility, and services that I decided to join the Pawsh team! I love my job! I love meeting all of the fur-babies and their parents that enter our facility and enjoy helping them in any capacity that I can.
When not at work, I enjoy exploring the local area with my family and experiencing all that Northern California has to offer. We are big sports fans and enjoy attending all types of sporting events and outdoor activities. I also enjoy reading, am a huge music fan (of all types), and love to travel. I’m excited to make more new friends here and look forward to meeting you and your fur-babies soon!
ReceptionistI was born and raised in the Bay Area and have always had a fondness for animals. My mom would often remind me of a time when I was a little girl and tried to put 5 feral kittens into my lunch box so I could bring them into my bedroom. When I saw that Pawsh was hiring I knew this was the perfect position for me. I mean who wouldn’t love seeing puppies and kittens all day long? I also have over 10 years of customer service experience.
When I’m not working I’m one busy sports mom to 5 wonderful children. Yes, I did say 5! The running joke is that I have my own basketball team. I’ve been married to my husband JR for 7 years now and our blended family enjoys anything related to the outdoors or sports. I also enjoy photography on my downtime and run my own business. I look forward to seeing you and your pets soon.
ReceptionistHi, my name’s April and I’m a Vet Hospital Receptionist here at Pawsh Place. I live in Esparto, on 10 acres with my wonderful husband and son. I’ve had too many animals to count over the years but I currently just have two dogs, four cats (2 are barn kitties!) and 11 Alpacas… Yep, Alpacas!
I’ve worked my entire life in the Veterinary Industry, 25 years as a Vet Assistant (I loved assisting with pet dental procedures!) or in Reception. I’ve always loved animals. When I was in the 3rd grade, I brought home a stray Collie and begged my mother to allow us to keep him. After trying to find his owner first, she finally agreed we could give him a home! I remember always having multiple pets while growing up, they made our family complete. As a teenager, I fell in love with horses. A friend of mine had a stable and I remember spending all my spare time there, whenever possible. I learned how to ride, train and show horses in their arena, my favorite being an ex-race horse named Ms. Bar Roni. Most of the time we referred to her as Macaroni or Ms. Mac for short. I will always love horses, some of my fondest teenage memories are of training and showing them.
I enjoy working at Pawsh! I appreciate our pet care philosophies and love that we offer such great values to the pet community. I work with an amazing team of professionals who come to work every day committed to giving your pet the best, quality care possible. I’m proud to work here and look forward to giving you and your fur-babies a great customer experience the next time you visit! Hope to see you soon.
ReceptionistHi, my name is Tynina and I’m a veterinary receptionist here at Pawsh. I love my job! I enjoy taking your calls, scheduling your pet’s appointments and welcoming in our daily patients. I love learning about your pet’s health and feel honored to help assist you with their pet care needs. I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals. From a young age, I remember being obsessed with Lions. It’s been a dream of mine to be able to work with them and other large exotic animals ever since.
I currently have two dogs, a Chihuahua named Duchess and a Chi-Terrier mix named Cannoli. My pups are Pawsh puppies and I was actually a client before working here. I was so amazed by the high standard of care we received that I wanted to become part of the Pawsh team too. Pawsh sincerely cares about their staff members and the pet community that we serve. Every day I come to work, I feel like I’m with family, all working toward the same goal which is to give you the best pet care possible.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my new husband. We love to spend time on the lake and camping with our family, friends, and fur-babies. I’m happy to help you any way I can here at Pawsh and look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon!
Hi, my name is
Hi, my name is Paige!
I graduated from San Francisco State University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have also been a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Solano County for about a year. Before starting at Pawsh in July, I worked at my mom’s home and garden boutique in Fairfield, which gave me 4 years of customer service experience. Growing up, I always loved animals, especially horses. I began riding and competing when I was 4 until I was 14. My pup Dakota, who is a staffy/husky mix, is one of the best things in my life! One of my favorite things to do is go hiking with her! When I’m not at Pawsh, I love being outdoors: whether it’s camping or hiking. I love traveling to new places and have been to 7 countries, I can’t wait to up that number! I am so excited to be here at Pawsh and look forward to meeting all of your fur babies!
Environmental SpecialistHeather is new to the vet field, but she is not new to being an animal lover. She has continuously enjoyed learning more about your pet’s health and well-being. Heather says the best part of her day is meeting and greeting all of the pets that come in. We are excited for Heather’s future at Pawsh Place Veterinary Center.
Environmental SpecialistHi my name is Sarah and I am new here at Pawsh Place! I currently work in the vet clinic as an environmental specialist where I get the opportunity to learn more about animal health care. For as long as I can remember I would beg my mom for pets, we’ve had snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats… Even rats! With my love for animals, I knew I wanted to work with and help them when I grew up. I’m planning on becoming a Vet Assistant/Tech and also have hopes of one day becoming a Veterinarian. Working at Pawsh gives me valuable pet care experience and the opportunity to be hands-on with animals and their medical care! The supportive atmosphere here makes me even more passionate about having a career helping animals! When I’m not at Pawsh, I out riding and showing horses, enjoying adventuring outdoors, and raising pigs for fair! I take every opportunity I can to be around animals, this is just another reason why Pawsh is such a good fit for me! Hope to meet you and your pets soon!
