Melanie Bargon
Hospital Aid/Veterinary Assistant
My main goal in working in pet care is to educate people on the proper ways to care for their animals. Because they deserve to live the best life possible.
I also have fur babies of my own: Lagetha, Zeus, and Mona!
A fun fact not many people know about me is that I was a track and field rock star in high school!

Veterinary Assistant
I’ve always loved animals and wanted to be around them as much as possible. When I learned about the veterinary profession, I decided it’s what I wanted to do with my future.
I plan to going to veterinarian medical school, and one day, opening my own practice. I also love the Saving Gracie program that Pawsh supports and would like to incorporate something like that into my future practice as well.
I have two dogs: a pitty-mix named Jax (AKA Mr. Man), and a chihuahua mix named Bean.

Veterinary Assistant
I’ve always had a love for animals and knew since I was little that I wanted to help make a difference for them and help;p them. I love that I can do for them what they can’t do for themselves.
My goal working in pet care is to make it a great experience for pets to visit the doctor and send them home healthier than when they arrived!
I also have a pet of my own. My fur-baby is a cat named Zoey 🙂
Some fun facts about me are that I love cooking, singing, and am from Rhode Island.

I’ve worked in the veterinary industry my entire life, spent 25 years as a vet assistant (I loved assisting with pet dental procedures!) or in reception. I’ve always loved animals too. In the 3rd grade, I brought home a stray collie and begged my mother to let us keep him. After trying to find his owner first, she finally agreed we could give him a home! I remember always having multiple pets growing up, they made our family complete. As a teenager, I fell in love with horses. A friend of mine had a stable and I would spend all my spare time there. I learned how to ride, train, and show horses in the arena. My favorite was an ex-racehorse named Ms. Bar Roni, but we called her Macaroni or Ms. Mac. I’ve always loved horses and they are some of my fondest teenage memories.
What I love most working at Pawsh are my coworkers. In the three years, I’ve worked here, this is the best time. We have the best people, we get along, and we have plenty of laughs to get us through the day. I also appreciate the pet care philosophies here and what we offer the pet community.
A fun fact about me is, well, I’m a little bit of a clown and like doing silly things for laughs. And, like I already said, I have 11 alpacas…and I love them all!

At Pawsh, my goals are to facilitate and meet the needs of the clients and their pets. I also have pets of my own. There’s Ollie, but he has nicknames. We call him Ollie-Vert, or Vert-Vert. There’s also Bagel Dog because he’s a big Beagle.
A fun fact about me is that I’m a bonafide coffee addict! I used to be a barista and had a whole coffee themed wedding.
Nice to meet you, and I look forward to taking care of you and your pet!

For me, I can’t imagine my life without an animal in it. They bring you a certain type of joy that people can’t. They’re always happy to see you, and they’re there to make you feel better and happy. They become your family. In a lot of ways, they’re like a child you have that never becomes self-sufficient. You have to take care of them every day, you love them, and build that bond that some people don’t have. That’s why I love my 3-legged Goldie, Billie, so much.
A fun fact about me is that I’m a really good cook. Ribs, fried chicken, dessert, you name it. I just like to create.
