Registered Veterinary Technician
Hey everybody! My name is Rosie, and I’ve been a veterinary assistant for over a year now. I recently graduated from Carrington College as a veterinary technician and plan on pursuing my RVT license this year!
In this industry, I love how we get to do a little bit of everything. I also love how technology and techniques are always evolving so I’ll never stop learning new things.
Something I’ve learned working at Pawsh is that every pet is unique. They all have different personalities, likes, and dislikes just like people do!
Of course I have fur-babies of my own. There’s Browny, Coketa, Pinguica, Manchitas, and Chiquita.
A fun fact about me is that I like to play football! I started watching it when I was little and taught myself the game by watching it. When my brother started playing it, he’d practice the drills by tackling me so I just learned how to play.
I got into the pet care industry because I love animals. Pure and simple. I grew up with a lot of pets and have never been without one in my life. I guess you could say they’ve always been there for me.
Before getting into pet care, however, I was a nurse taking care of humans for a number of months. Then I realized I prefer helping animals and made the switch.
I also have dogs of my own: Piper the chihuahua, Spiro is a lab/hound mix, and I have a Queensland/Pitbull named Bowser.
Apart from my love of animals, a fun fact about me is that I’m a proud sci-fi nerd! I love cheesy sci-fi movies and books. Dune is definitely my favorite!
I recently joined the Pawsh team in April 2022. I graduated from Carrington College with my associates in Veterinary Science Technology. I’ve been in the veterinary field for about 4 years now. I’ve work in both general practices and emergency/critical care practices.
I choose this career because I am very passionate about helping all animals. I love educating pet parents and being able to help them improve their fur baby’s life. It’s the most fulfilling thing when you are a part of a pet’s recovery. It’s never a dull moment doing this work.
When I am not helping pets, I am living my life with partner Alex. I enjoy fishing, exploring nature, and watching football. Go Raiders! We also have two fur babies, Max and Mia, and very soon our first Babygirl!
Hi Everyone! My name is Keri and I’ve worked at Pawsh since March of 2022. I love to work here because we genuinely care about animals and each other. My dream career as a child was to become a veterinarian. Working here has made me want to pursue my education further in animal medicine.
When I’m not at work I love to hang out at home and relax with my boyfriend, our 2 dogs, Loki and Leia, and our cat, Luna.
Hi, My name is Victoria! I’ve been in the Animal Care field for about three years, and I’ve been a Veterinary Assistant at Pawsh Place since mid-2022.
Since I was little, my dream job has been to work with animals. I started working with animals at such a young age because I love them, and it’s a gratifying job when you are always learning so much. I love making a difference by helping pet owners learn how to care for their animals properly.
I learned while working at Pawsh Place that communication is key. You have to communicate well with your clients and doctors, so pets can get the best care possible!
I also have two dogs at home: Rosie, a Pitt/ Chihuahua mix, and Ruger, an American Bulldog.
When I’m not at work, I’m usually at my barn riding horses or at home relaxing!
Hey all, I’m Lindsey. I’ve been a receptionist on Pawsh’s front line for two years. Working here is great because it’s in my home town, it’s close to my house, and I love the people I work with as well as learning new things about animals and being around them. Plus, I enjoy helping as much as I possibly can, interacting with people, and being busy. It reminds me we’re doing something good.
For me, I can’t imagine my life without an animal in it. They bring you a certain type of joy that people can’t. They’re always happy to see you, and they’re there to make you feel better and happy. They become your family. In a lot of ways, they’re like a child you have that never becomes self-sufficient. You have to take care of them every day, you love them, and build that bond that some people don’t have. That’s why I love my 3-legged Goldie, Billie, so much.
A fun fact about me is that I’m a really good cook. Ribs, fried chicken, dessert, you name it. I just like to create.
I’ve worked in the veterinary industry my entire life, spent 25 years as a vet assistant or in reception. What I love most working at Pawsh are my coworkers. In the 4 years I’ve worked here, this is the best time. We have the best people, we get a long, and we have plenty of laughs to get us through the day. I also appreciate the pet care philosophies here and what we offer the pet community.
A fun fact about me is, well, I’m a little bit of a clown and like doing silly things for laughs.
I enjoy working with animals and love the social aspect of it. I managed to have a fun day every day with all of our clients and patients. I enjoy listening to books on audible and finding things to do with my family. I have a fiancé and three beautiful daughters, and we love to go hang out with close friends and family or go out for walks or play at the park. I have a dog named Markinho (my only son). He’s a Yorkie mixed with Maltese. I love the atmosphere here and the people I work with. We manage to make work enjoyable and fun every day.
