Associate Veterinarian

Pets have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve been raised around animals my entire life and consider each of them to be an important part of my family. My family shares these values, my Mom even tolerated a snake that I found and brought home when I was a kid! ☺ I’ll especially remember my vet school, Pit rescue, Bailey Boo. Bailey was an awesome dog and had a patient temperament.

As Vet Students, we could always count on Bailey to ‘volunteer’ for our rotations. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been interested in knowing everything I could about animals, so learning to care for them is just in my blood. Even as a veterinarian, I still love learning new things about pet care every day. I also value my relationship with each pet owner! While examining my patient, I can really identify with the concerns of my pet owner. I appreciate how they feel and treat their pet as if they were my own.

I’m thrilled to be part of the Pawsh Place! I love being a part of a team that practices up to date, modern medicine and also provides such excellent client care service! Pawsh has a warm and friendly environment and is a perfect fit for me. On my time off, I enjoy sewing. I’m also a huuuge Star Wars Geek, Disney Fanatic, and a big Marvel & DC Fan! Oh, and did I mention that I’m a Walking Dead Faithful… Never miss an episode!! (Happy Trails, looking forward to meeting you and your fur-family soon!)

Associate Veterinarian

Hi everyone! I’m Dr. Najar, Pawsh’s newest veterinarian. I’m a UC Davis undergrad alumnus, a Purdue University veterinary school alumnus, and happy to be serving the Vacaville community as your new associate veterinarian! I’m now a Vacaville resident living with my fiancé, and our two dogs. Nyla, our 3-year-old Siberian Husky is our vivacious athlete of the family, running over 3+ miles a day. Calvin, our 4-month-old Golden Retriever, is my token vet-school-adoption-puppy who stole my heart when we found out he had heart disease and needed a dedicated family to take care of him. On the weekends, we love to go wine tasting, travel to Disneyland (HUGE DISNEY FANS), or re-furnish an old piece of furniture hiding in the garage. To relax, you can find me binge-watching the latest crime documentary on Netflix… who can resist! My veterinary interests lie in emergency medicine, as well as physical therapy for dogs. Moving back to Vacaville, Pawsh Place caught my attention with the caring staff, top-notch medicine, and full-service veterinary facilities. Pawsh has a great mix of caring for sick patients and establishing lifelong relationships with clients from new puppy exams to senior wellness exams. I’m excited to serve the families of Vacaville, and I love forward to caring for your four-legged fur babies!
