Head Play Care CoachHi, I’m Casey. I’m from North Carolina but moved here in 2014 after my husband got stationed at Travis AFB. My husband and I have 5 fur babies which include 2 dogs (Mika and Maple) and our 3 guinea pigs (Momo, Babs, and Oreo). I graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services. I worked at an inpatient rehabilitation program for adolescents for over a year before moving to California. I have also spent 5+ years working in various retail jobs with an overall total of 9 years providing customer service.
In my downtime, I like to crochet or my husband and I will take our dogs hiking. I have recently taken up running even though I swore it was something I would never do. I also enjoy board games, reading, and cooking.
Growing up dogs were always a big part of our family and I could never picture my life without them. Slowly my love for animals grew from just dogs to all animals and they have now become my passion. I’m thrilled to be part of the Pawsh family and can’t wait to see where this journey will take me.
Play Care CoachMy name’s Will, and I’ve been a Vacaville native much like the rest of the staff. I’m a big dog enthusiast, and my current obsession is with husky dogs. I’ve been a long-time volunteer at animal rescues, and can never get rid of my passion for helping out pets, which are really people’s family members of a different species. I graduated from CSU Sacramento with a degree in Business Administration, and hope to use it any way I can towards my love of our furry companions.
I’ve always admired the work of veterinarians and still wish to pursue my dreams of finding the right balance between caring for animals and utilizing my skills. That’s why I feel excited to work for Pawsh, to be able to really experience all aspects of pet care with such a tight-knit team. There really is no better place to be with such a welcoming environment that cares about the community that I’ve grown up in so much.
Anyway, when I’m not working, you can probably find me running for fun (and fitness!) or cooking. Another dream of mine is to become like Gordon Ramsay but we’ll see about that one.
Play Care CoachHi, I’m Melody! I’ve been with team Pawsh since August 2016 and I work in our play care department. You can find me playing on the turf while supervising and socializing your pups! I love my position and find it so satisfying when I can help improve the general behavior of our clients. Dogs are pack animals and they need each other, there is no better feeling for me than to see them being able to engage with one another in a fun and positive environment. Don’t have the time to exercise your dog during the week? Bring them to me and I’ll be happy to give them the care they need to be healthier and happier for you and your family! I have three kids and a dog named Harley, who’s an awesome Pit/Rott mix. I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals and I have found my home here at Pawsh Place! I’m hoping to play with your pup soon and I look forward to meeting them soon.
Play Care CoachMy name is Ashley. I have lived in Vacaville for 28 years, so I’m super excited to be able to serve the community through Pawsh. I have always loved animals since I was a little girl and felt a deep connection. My mom always tells me my favorite toy as a girl was a pound puppy. And I would make my mom walk it around the block with me! I still to this day love reading dog encyclopedias and watching dog shows.
I have always loved animals and science. I graduated from Solano Community College with my Associates in Biotechnology. I would really love to further my education and become an RVT or Veterinary Assistant as I love helping people as well as animals. I have previous experience with animals from volunteering at the SPCA as well as working at Dixon Pet Resort.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Dylan. Other hobbies I enjoy include; hiking, painting, singing, drawing, reading and playing video games. I also enjoy hanging out with my two cats Bubba and Meme. A dog will be added to the family very soon! I look forward to playing with your pups and getting to know each of their personalities and play styles!
Play Care CoachHello, my name is Amanda! I grew up in Maryland, then relocated to Colorado around 2008. I worked as a senior/supervisor pet care specialist for a pet daycare facility there and loved it. After recently moving to Northern California, I currently reside at Travis AFB, where I’m a fur-mom to 3 cats & 2 dogs. I love working with pets and am ecstatic to bring my pet care experience to Pawsh Place, as a play care coach! I look forward to meeting your fur-family and showing them the ropes of our great socialization program! Hope to see you both soon.
Play Care CoachHello! My name is Darian, and while I only have a few years of experience in the pet care world, I have a lifetime of love for animals! My dog Luca is my best friend; I enjoy taking her on new adventures and daily walks. I also have a pet snake, Panini, and I take him on weekly “walks” around the backyard. Taking care of animals is so therapeutic for me, one day I hope to open up my own business that specializes in art therapy and animal therapy.
I am so excited to be a part of the Pawsh Play Care Team! I am looking forward to getting to know all of the pets that come into Pawsh Place and learning from my knowledgeable co-staff. My number one goal is to take great care of your pet while encouraging them to have as much fun as possible during their time here with us! I love my job and am looking forward to seeing you and your amazing pet(s) soon!
Play Care CoachHey there, my name is Kelsey and I’m a Play Care Coach here at Pawsh! My husband is in the Air Force so our family just moved to California! I was born and raised in Indiana and I also lived in Colorado for a few years. While in CO I was able to work at a dog daycare boarding facility and I loved it! I loved the atmosphere, where I could be around dogs while they socialize and interact with each other!
I decided to further my education and take an online certificate program through Animal Behavior Institute for Advanced Canine Training. I hope to one day be a dog trainer as well and use my knowledge and experience to help owners as much as I can!
My love for animals started early on, even when I was a little girl I always knew I wanted to work with them. My first-grade teacher, Mrs.Oates, had a big heart and such compassion for animals and I remember this leaving a big impact on me. To this day, I still admire and could spend hours talking with her about her passion for animals.
We have a full house at home! Two dogs, Raja and Abu, a cat, Jasmine, two birds Dantonio and Sweetie. I also have an adorable, furless, two-legged daughter Breslin. We’re a Disney, Michigan State, and animal loving family!!
I can’t wait to meet your dogs in play care and continue learning more about canine behavior! I hope to grow not only for myself but to live up to the Pawsh standard and be the best I can be!
