I would like to reach out to you all and introduce myself. My name is Nicole and I am a groomer here at Pawsh! I initially learned the trade so I could groom my family’s poodle when I was a teen. However I later became certified and have been professionally grooming for almost fifteen years now. I really enjoy helping pets to be as comfortable as they are beautiful, and I am glad I can share the love with dogs in my community. I consider my specialty to be poodle grooming whether it be a contemporary creative groom, mid-century or even renaissance style. However I enjoy working with all breeds, especially seniors. I have a soft spot for elderly pets as I am now on my second poodle whom is turning ten this year. We only have so little precious time with these special members of our family’s and it is my goal to make sure that they are as happy about their groom as you are.
My boyfriend and I have a 2-year-old Yellow lab and his name is Whiskey. He is the greatest fur baby, snuggle bug and sidekick. We like to go to the park and play fetch, go on evening walks and enjoy the outdoors as much as we can. Whiskey is my best friend and we couldn’t imagine life without him. He has brought us so much happiness and love.
I am proud to be a Pawshie and cannot wait to meet new fur babies along my journey as a part of this Pawsome team!
My love for grooming developed and I found myself owning my own salon at the end of 2005. My artistic nature combined with the aesthetic nature of making animals beautiful blossomed in the following years. I also love the aspect that I’m helping animals and owners by identifying potential risks early on as well as helping owners with every day basics to increase the joy and longevity of living with animals. I have been to at least a dozen grooming seminars, classes and studies. I love learning about pet behavior, anatomy and grooming styles, as well as teaching grooming to new groomers. Today I’m grooming full time here at Pawsh Place and love to groom dogs and cats while working on continued education in the grooming industry!
